FTR Interrogator is a complete digital interview room solution designed specifically for investigators and other law enforcement officials to use during the questioning of suspects, victims and witnesses. The solution offers users a multitude of tools to facilitate activities above-and-beyond simply recording. In addition to capturing an audio/video recording of the interview, it also enables them to playback, annotate, save and manage those recordings in a simple and efficient manner.

  • Record digital audio & video with the push of a single button

  • Automatically imprint the time, date & location of that interview on the recording; each frame is imprinted with a unique watermark to protect against allegations of tampering

  • Replicate the recording to a secure network location as it occurs or archive it to optical media at the end for storage

  • Tag each recording with appropriate identifying information such as Case Number, Interviewee Name & Interviewer Name

FTR Interrogator is a direct replacement for VHS and Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) and can be implemented easily, without disrupting established procedures. It provides a way for law enforcement venues to easily convert from old-style VHS or DVR players to a complete solution that provides capabilities to manage recordings above and beyond simply recording the interview. Digital storage media (CD/DVD) reduces storage needs and costs significantly.

With TheRecord Recorder, FTR Interrogator provides users with a single interface from which to control recording and take case-related notes that are fully indexed, linked to the recording, and easily searchable. FTR Interrogator facilitates search, retrieval and play back of pre-recorded content directly from a user’s computer. It also allows users to import any field recordings, including index marks, from their digital handheld recorder and label each recording with appropriate identifying information.
